Yep. Somebody dies. Brando does that weird thing with the orange in his mouth before he dies.

    Yeah...that question didnt last long.

The sight of oranges meant someone was about to die or have a close call.

I didn't know that vitamin C deficiency could kill you. What a horrible way to die. I would rather have someone saw my horses head off.

    ROFL

The Godfather movies are a case of life immitating art...

After the movies came out wiseguys started to behave very differently - including dressing better and adopting some of the traits - even speech patterns - used in the movies...

The term "godfather" (for example) was never actually used by the mob, Mario Puzo made it up. After the movie came out people started assuming it was the way wiseguys really talked and behaved, so the term started appearing in news reports, etc.; and is now actually used by the mob.

Heh. I would have thought it would have been a ham sandwich in his mouth like with Momma Cass http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Cass_Elliot#Family_and_death

    ITJock,

I always thought that The Sopranos was interesting because they were a bunch of mob guys living in a post-modern, pop culture influenced world. I think Paulie Walnut's car horn played the theme from the Godfather.
