I got my first B12 shot at the clinic and find that it adds a bit of energy and stamina. Any hint of tired and drowsy in the morning was replaced with eagerness to get out of bed. Seems to take effect right away and last for a week or two without any side effects.

So my question... Is it dangerous to get B12 shots regularly once a week or every other week... if I don't really have a B12 deficiency?

B12 is relatively non-toxic. I used to have a script from my doctor for several years, but didn't really get that much therapeutic benefit.

"B-12 has extremely low toxicity and even taking it in enormous doses appears not to be harmful to healthy individuals.["

I ran across a youtube video that says this works wonders.... To get a Dr Rx do you have to suffer from anything in particular?

My doc has me on B-12 injections weekly. I do it at home, myself.
It's made a real difference for me.

I take Animal Pack and it contains 5mcg of B12. Is it as effective as caffine? More so?
