Sometimes you see something like this that makes you just ask - WHY?

So very, very sad - I wonder if that child had one moment of happiness or peace duriing her short life.

I've always felt that breeding should be licensed and not a right, (ok you can flame me for that statement) but I just get tired of all the welfare mom's that recklessly have kids to get more money or those on drugs giving birth to babies with drug dependencies before they even take their first breath of air.

We have some people who are not fit to be parents to Mr. Potato Head let alone a human being or pets.

And how many of those welfare moms like you describe are there? Surely if you're going to make such a claim, you've done research into the issue. Also, what about the fact that middle and upper class families abuse their children too. I don't see you lambasting the cocaine loaded millionaire who leaves her child with the nanny 24 hours a day. Child abuse is child abuse, and it is not dependent on socioeconomic status.

Why do you make this statement about women but say nothing about the men who play an equal part in creating a new life which they then fail to support and protect?

Yes, I've done my research, I'm well educated thank you. Those millionaire coke heads who have nannies, that's a different topic all together, I would hope at least the nannies are raising the children well, albeit, with out a strong parental influence for the child's development.

This thread is about direct child abuse and while a millionaire coke head abdicating the raising of their children to others is not the best form of parenting, the child is not in danger of being abused (unless the nanny is a problem too). Any family who abuse their children, they too should not procreate with out a license icon_smile.gif, high, middle, low income, doesn't matter, socioeconomic status does not automatically bestow good parental skills on anyone.

Let's throw out morals for a minute and get down to the ugly reality. Like it or not Women can get pregnant, ergo, they are the only ones that can bare children. While it takes a man (sometimes, look at that crazy fuck OctoMom) to help with conception, the Woman can go at it alone. However, like it or not, Women HAVE to be MORE responsible than men, period. While men can be pigs, irresponsible, etc, at the end of the event (which is sex) the men can slink away to their own pitiful existence while the Woman is left holding the sperm. Yes, men are responsible for having sex with women, HOWEVER, since our existence, males have walked away from females after sex. That's the reality, come to grip with it and stop your whining.

Please don't bring up rape/incense, etc were a woman does not have control, that's a whole different topic and those cases are very different from the perspective of being responsible.

    my god.

abuse.......so many people go through it and have to live with it the rest of their lives.

in this case it ended horribly.

i've given up trying to understand why people do these things and sadly I've learned evil exists despite what I want to think.

Is anyone really suprised about this?

This is what happens if you decide to live around humans--some of them are really dumb. Of course babies, young kids, and even some adults cannot choose to move away from abusive people.

There are lots of stupid people out there.

"Well educated"? Lol, er - "all together" ... "were a woman" ... "come to grip with it" ... ?

I could go on. He has a good point: child abuse is not connected to socio economic status and you made a rather rude, sweeping comment about "welfare moms".

As for rape/incest, what the fuck has that got to do with anything?

    Imbecile.

OMG!!! What is wrong with people.
    They are sick!!!

It sad that anyone ever has to go through this.
I guess the good thing to know now, she is in a far better place to where she happy and no longer has to be abused.

I know of several children who went through some of the same situations, they survived, but was left with physical and mental handicaps.

oh jeeze, now the crazy brit is on to personal attacks.

My point bloke about rape/incest was to fend off any pathetic rhetoric about 'what about the women who are raped that don't have a choice', blah blah blah.

And for welfare mom's - when you get educated about the welfare system in the US, you might get an understanding for my comment. Am I painting everyone with the same brush on welfare here in the states?, not necessarily, however I do use a wide brush. Reality is harsh and rude, in speaking about the above subject which is child abuse, it's not pretty.

"all the welfare mom's that recklessly have kids to get more money " Now if you are going to 'read' in to my statement, please be educated about it yourself.

Not all welfare mom's have kids to get more money, HOWEVER, if you are on government assistance, which means something is not going right in life for you, why the fuck are you going to have more goddamn kids on my dime!

How about being a responsible adult and realizing that before you bring another life in to this world you may want to think about that. Yes procreation is a fundamental right - it doesn't mean it occurs under responsible situations.

Moron.... (yes I'm stooping to your level so you can understand me)

since I'm also a male homosexual, then I'll use the stereotypical response:

    Cunt.
