what does everyone recommend for a baseball hat for the gym or afterward? I know a soft one will curve better, but I want one that will hold up to a bit of sweating - any ideas?

Why do people wear hats when they know they are going to sweat? It's not like you have to worry about the sun, unless the gym is outdoors...

Sorry, that was not an answer to your question. But I've just never got wearing hats indoors.

I wear a sweat band indoors - I'm a heavy sweater - and outdoors, too, when it's warm. If it's cooler, a knitted cap - and a hat with a bill only if I'm outside in rain or snow. 'Fraid I don't have the "look" - just functional stuff.

I'd recommend Nike's 'Daybreak' hat. I sweat a lot and it's the best hat I've found - lightweight, mesh panels, great sweat control. You can buy them (lots of colors) at Nike.com, roadrunnersports.com etc...

I always wear a hat at the gym. UnderArmour makes great performance caps.

Wearing a baseball cap inside looks stupid, sorry.

    Hats are for outside.
