Stretching for bottoming

    I'm a bottom, but I'm not very flexible. I wanna be able to bend my legs all the way back when i'm on my back, be able to do the splits etc etc. you know, sexy girly flexibility lol

    what stretches do i have to do?

    Do Yoga... it will do wonders to your flexibility. Guys are often amazed at how flexible I am when bottoming, even though I am a big guy (6'3 190).

    I practice stretching and with the front split you explore new one...

    Yoga is the way. Plus it gets you horny after the stretch/shower.

    Yoga for stretching was never enough for me. I'm double jointed in the hips, shoulders and a few other places, so positions intended to "stretch" or push the limits of range of motion never posed much of a challenge. I guess this isn't surprising given that I can slip my feet behind my head and rotate my arms in the shoulder in rather unusual ways...

    On the other hand, holding poses with one or both feet behind your head and such demands performance in a number of areas, so there's quite a lot of benefit in it even if you aren't pushed in a single one.

    There are some basic rules for any kind of stretching, including yoga, that I might practice.

    1. I will not require of my testicles the burden of supporting my entire body mass, or even large parts thereof.

    2. Splits of any sort should not involve the feeling of splitting skin or connective tissues.

    There are others, but those are a couple of the important ones. icon_razz.gif

    Avoiding self injury in any sort of flexibility exercise is just like anything else; push yourself, but listen to your body when warns you of physical limits. Pushing past that is a ticket to pain.

    as most of the previous posts said. yoga yoga yoga! definitely. but to be a little more specific...here are some pose suggestions.

    ...any of the warrior positions.
    ...doing a sun salutation every morning, and a moon salutation every night will really open up general flexibility, and as you'll notice once you do the salutations, they've each got a few good moves for bottoms.
    ...forward bends, as well as seated forward bends (as basic as they sound) done regularly will really open up your back and hamstrings
    ...shoulder stand will REALLY open up your back once you can progress to the point of lowering your legs and attempting to put your toes on the ground behind your head.

    find a really good and qualified yoga teacher in your area and ask them to create the space in your pelvic. in yoga, all the standing postures will help as well as hip openers

    I have two responses.
    Part 1: Yoga is a great way to increase flexibility. Even just the basic down dog pose is a stretch for your hamstrings if you really push your hips to the sky and bring your heels to the floor.
    You might also try a dance class, an adult recreational dance class should include LOTS of stretching.
    And with any stretching, you want to hold the stretch at least 20 secs. Basically stretch till you feel just slightly uncomfortable (not in pain!) then take deep breaths and try to relax. As you relax into the stretch you'll find you can go a bit further. Then you need to hold a bit longer. If you don't stretch at least for 20 secs you arent really doing anything but stressing out the muscle. As far as the max time for holding a stretch, I've heard everything from 40 secs to 60 secs as MAX time to hold a stationary stretch.

    Part 2: Why does it have to be "girly" flexibility? I can do the splits in every possible direction and I don't think that necessarily makes me girly!! There is no connection between having longer tendons or trained muscles and being effeminate. And for the record I'm not a bottom.

    Whatever stretches you start doing - you have to do them everyday, , maybe even twice a day and you'll see such improvement. Of course try and make sure your warm before hand.
    Full splits? That's going to take a lot of hard work, but then it depends how naturally flexible you are.
    I've always been flexible, now I dance everyday, I'm more or less a rubber man LOL

    I did alot of martial arts as a kid and maintain the crazy flexibility today. I am a big guy upwards of 6'3" and am crazy flexible.

    I agree yoga helps with flexiblity, as well as gymnastic and just stretching regulary.

    there is a modality of stretching that i use called, active isolated stretching. it has personally done wonders for my flexibility, as well as eliminated certain pains in my body. to fully describe it would take way too much space on this thread, but i wrote a bit more about it here:

    NOW this explains my bf (6'3, 198 pounds) against my 5'11 (170 pound) frame.

    .....but i'm very flexible anyways and the pretzel is his favorite position.

    Why do tops enjoy pushing a man's hands behind his head and fucking him, I do not know.
