As a link in to my other thread about porn stars on RealJock, just out of curiousity...

Has anyone here had sex with a porn star, and if so was it everything you expected? If not, why? Would you do porn?

I have been with a couple of small time porn actors in the past. The couple I have been with are no better and no worse in bed than anyone else I have been with. I'm not much of a size seeker, so the extra inches were more of a challenge than a joy.

What I like about most porn actors is that they "live life" more than most. I've learned that "recovering" addicts, prostitutes and porn actors usually have a realistic view of the world around them and generally are not caught up in one particular "clique" or way of thinking. Finding "nice" people is difficult in a big city and, assuming addiction is not one of your difficulties, I recommend seeking out a few recovering addicts and current or former porn stars and/or escorts for friendships.

yes, it was ok. being a porn star doesn't make you any better and plenty of guys i've been who i think were the best are just your regular 9-5 guys... there are a few porn stars i wouldn't mind being with though.

I wouldn't say a "porn star", but a sean cody guy, and it was..hollow/contrived (like a gay porn). I had no reason to experience it in that way as I had no preexisting opinion of the guy, I didn't learn of his career until a bit after. At any rate, the next morning he casually suggested I hit the gym, because "noone wants a chubby boyfriend" which was kind of awkward. I thought " Hold up, wait. I'm chubby?" Just because you have shit tons of pressure on you and are unhappy about it shouldn't allow you to fall under the impression that you are justified in imposing upon others. I reckon you could say it felt the way it did because he wasn't interested, however why would you have intercourse with someone you have no interest in?

No, they are not my type of people I want to have sex with. Porn Stars go with sluts. Regular guy like myself rather stick with one guy. I don't find porn stars are that special. They only sell their own bodies to make money. That I won't do with my body because my body is for someone I love.

Lots of judgment like this keeps me living in the city away from the narrow confines of intolerant thinking.

Many guy's idea of "love" is really selfish possession. The porn actors I consider friends got beyond the false, sex = love, equation. Once a man realizes that sex and love are not related, he can build a sincere relationship which may or may not have monogamy as one attribute.

I have....Its really not all its cracked up to be. They are actors...plain and simple. In my situation, I was the one acting when I was in bed with him. I deserved the Oscar for that shit.

I think that anyone who judges porn stars in any way, but is a consumer of their product should take a flying leap off a cliff. If you have ever watched porn and gotten hard, but think the actors you're watching are skanks or sluts, you're probably the lowest form of filth I can imagine. And if you say you've never watched porn or been aroused by it, you're lying sack of crap.

To answer the OP. I've had sex with a couple porn actors, nobody particularly famous. The sex was great, but I imagine the rest of them are like anyone else. Some of them are great lays and some of them bad. Some people will probably find the sex more enjoyable because they're bringing their own starfucker mentality to bed with them.

I had sex with a minor porn actor once. We had gotten to know each other first so there were no preconcieved expectations as to what was going to happen. They are people just like everyone else and we are still friends to this day. As a matter of fact we are going hiking in a few minutes so I better get going.

My experience with porn stars was decades ago but I would completely endorse what you say about porn stars, strippers, etc as friends who can give you a different slant on the world.

I think a distinction needs to be made between porn star and some random joe who made yippie in front of some old guy's handicam.

Is there more cache in having sex with a porn "star" than with someone who did porn? Why?

Isn't the term "star" a non sequitur after the word porn, really, except in the eyes of the people who market it? And in the bizarre subculture that fetishizes the people who act in pornography? Most people use pornography to get off and don't care too much about the basically fungible hotties who help them on their way. To call even people who make a living acting in porn films "stars" is really kind of bizarre.

I'm not putting down any people who do porn at all, just questioning the odd elitism in the post I have quoted. How many actual "stars" are there in the porn industry, meaning actors/actresses who have made fortunes solely out of appearing in pornography and are world famous?

Does celebrity elitism really have a place in this discussion?

As a person who is in porn, the concept of the "porn star" much like the "supermodel" is pretty much no more.

Porn actor or model would be the more appropriate term. I personally call myself an adult thespian.

The difference between random joe and a porn actor is that porn actors get paid for thier work.

Dude bring it down a notch o-O The only implication I made is that there is a marked difference between someone who makes their living habitually having sex on film and a guy who managed to get filmed doing stuff. Kudos on properly incorporating the term fungible.

Yes, I"ve been with three at different times within the last few years. Like many other posts, it was good, not any different than anyone else, maybe a few tricks, moves and verbal assertions were used, but all in all a good experience to have, but not as spectacular as many may think.

I agree generally. Nice ass fuck and a huge cock that he managed to get into my ass somehow, but if I had picked up a disease? (Or gotten pregnant ha ha) it sure as hell wasn't worth it.

I dated a couple of guys before they did porn.

I find gay guys either idolize or demonize porn-stars. But you know what? They're actually just regular people.
