ok so i recently made the switch form using THE abs lounge ultra (which by the way works great !)
to using the stability (stamina) ball with weighted dumbells
i am currently using 2- 20 pound dummbells and doing 100 per set
does anyone have expierence with doing crunches this way ?
    what are the results ? on a scale of 1 - 10 ?
what pound of dumbbels works the best ?
ill also keep you informed on any info i learn on my own of this but would like to hear some similar feedback thanx guys icon_smile.gif

    PS
if you know of a more effective way of doing crunches other than the lying on the floor version please share icon_smile.gif thanx

Ab Ripper X and Core Synergistics from P90X.... it's been working great for me. I'm giving it a 9.

Intense ab training is great and all but you do know that whether or not you see a six pack or how much of your abs shows depends more on diet and cardio than any number of crunches or ab exercises, don't you?

Want to know a little secret how I DO IT?

When I am out Jogging, I find a park bench and sit down on it. Then I put the tips of my toes/shoes underneath the top part of the table. Then I hold my hands and arms on my sides and some times make them open out and other ways. I pull up gradually and then let down slowly so I do not hurt my back. I sometimes do it faster for a more intense work out. I do 100 a day!

I have an abdominal ball that is nice to stretch me out and I do like the other various nautilus machines and I even hold onto a bar and lift my legs and pull my knees up to my chin! That's right...I do many different kinds!!

    POW
    I go abs!

You just need to lie on the floor and do crunches, not situps they only work your adductors, with some dumbell plates behind your head. I'm up to 60 crunches with 20 lbs.

actually i think floor crunches are terrible. i started by doing them and my back killed me. some guy who saw me doing them took me under his wing and showed me different ways to work my abs. The key is dont get stuck doing same ab workouts....vary it up that way your abs develop evenly
