If you were forced to spend a year on an isolated island with an athlete.....who would you pick and why? (because I've never watched the view, and was feeling left out)

    I want this guy....Flex Lewis

    FlexLewis190.jpg

    Because...

    1. He has great pecs and mine suck

    2. I'm heavily motivated by guys that are young (>25) and built

    3. He's welsh...but unlike me he hasn't lost the accent and can't hide it.

    4. Seen him interviewed and he seems like a very genuine guy/ not an idiot or a douche bag

This is a throwback to the late 80's, early 90's but if I were forced to spend a year on a desert island with an athlete I admire and could learn from....I would have to say Joe Dumars. He was always in my opinion a class act while on the Pistons.

living here in new orleans, the choice is an obvious, easy one: new orleans saint's superbowl winning quaterback, drew breez.

not only is he boy next door cute, with a damn fine body below his black and gold jersey; he also gives every appearance of being an all around good guy/nice guy, in the best sense of the phrase.icon_biggrin.gif

    "Barefoot Ted" McDonald
    Video-29-0-02-40-19-%282%29-727970.jpg

The guy runs barefoot and in minimalist shoes exclusively and has completed up to 100-mile races (including the Leadville 100) barefoot or in minimalist shoes. But what I admire most about him is his passionate joy with which he approaches running. Though I don't think I'd be able to spend a year on an island with him...just because we would run out of places to run. icon_wink.gif
