Hahaha.. Fantastic. Another one. I am a fan of the genre and I will certainly pay my ticket price to see this one.
HOWEVER, I think (as far as Romero is concerned) that he made his GREAT political and artistic statement with the FIRST Night of the Living Dead..now, I think he's just reiterating his point to a new generation. So, in conclusion, it's been done, and it'll be done again, but it works every time. icon_smile.gif

Yeah he does like to put a little piece of himself in his movies that's for sure.

I still remember that movie you mentioned I got to see it when I was 8 and my dad was sitting in front of me the whole time I saw bits and pieces of it, it wasn't till I was 22 that I had the chance to see the whole thing from start to end. icon_cool.gif

Looks awesome. I've seen all of them, including remakes, except for Day of the Dead and Diary of the Dead. No particular reason, just haven't.

I LOVE me some George A. Romero (moreso classic stuff Night of the Living Dead, Martin, The Crazies, Dawn/Day of the Dead, Creepshow, etc) - However I just......can't.....get.....excited......for this new "dead" entry. icon_eek.gif

I'll get this one for my zombie collection, regardless of it being good or bad. Hell, I have Diary of the Dead and Land of the Dead!

My favorite one for gore-factor is Automaton Transfusion. There is a sequel coming out... eventually. icon_biggrin.gif

i have a thing for zombie movies. but prefer the ones where they run after you instead of walking casually like theyre taking a stroll in a park.

It was playing at the TIFF (Toronto Internation Film Festival) in September and there was a huge celebration for Romero. The movie definitely had a cheese factor to it, but it's almost expected with zombie movies. He always brings something new to each movie, so they're all definitely worth watching. I completely nerded out and took part in a zombie walk specifically for Romero that ended at Dundas Square on a red carpet. He was there to make a speech about receiving Canadian citizenship and then the classic Night of the Living Dead was played. It was a ghoulish time. I have a picture in my profile from the day!

Anyone else take part in zombie walks? I've done three! I'm such a nerd.
