How absolutely lovely! What a joy to see 2 guys enjoying such beauty together! Great pics! Thank you for sharing. icon_biggrin.gif

Of course I've been to St. Augustine myself (and also to San Augustine in Texas, another little historical gem). But more beautiful than the attractions, which will always be there, were the pics of 2 gay guys enjoying them. At least to my eyes, and to my sensibilities. And so who took the pics of you 2 guys together? Very nicely done. icon_biggrin.gif

yeah it was our first trip togethericon_smile.gif I have no problem asking people to take pics of us, 1 was taken by a stranger (freaked me out handing my camera to them) and the one of us sitting was taken with timer.

What an incredible time we shared, I'm a history freak so I was in heaven as I had two of my favorite things to explore.... Next wish list trip is to Key West, I've followed the Atocha wreck/discovery for 35years and have a 1617 Reale coin I purchased from the Fishers many years ago and would like to see the site.

What really interesting is the history of the area, the art college was once a hotel and now houses a collecting of original Tiffany stained glass windows in the student dinning room worth 35 million, talk about dinning in styleicon_biggrin.gif..... Also didn't know that the spaniards were such a short people, average of 4'7" to 4'11" talk about short and fiesty, damn.....

I have the privilege of living in the Jax Metro area and can easily make it an evenin trip to St. Augustine. It is a little piece of history and is perfect for a romantic getaway weekend or just spend the day wasting away as an in-state tourist. Now is the time to go because in the summer it is packed with non-Floridians and thunderstorms are a near constant threat.

Great pictures! I enjoy St. Augustine. I went twice last year. Their lighthouse ghost tour (at night of course) is really exciting.

Great pics of the two of you. Visited St. Augustine last year and was amazed by how everything seemed built on a small scale. I had always felt like I had to duck not to hit my head on door frames. icon_lol.gif
