No such thing as too late. I'd be proud you didn't give into peer pressure and waste yourself on someone before you were ready

Nope, I lost mine at 18 too. The first time I got head was with a guy almost 3 times my age but hands down gave the best head I've ever had in my life. Then shortly after him I was too impatient and lost my virginity to a internet hookup that lasted 6 secs in me and I lasted 20 in him. icon_cool.gif I know right, thorough bred stallion!
My best friend in high told me a few years back he played around with two of our straight (hot) friends back in the day and I was so disappointed that I didn't have those experiences but since looking back now, I've had great sex with even greater people so it's not like I should be greedy and expect to have everything happen to me. Who knows, I might go back and get lucky with those guys hehehe.

    I've got a friend who hasn't even had a girlfriend yet and he's 25.

Comparison to others can make you feel and lead you to do stupid things. Be real, 12-14 is way early. Be happy that your 1st encounter was something more than hiding in your fathers wrkshop behind the garage w/ your best-friend w/ no comprehension of what your doing besides the fact it feels good. At 18 I hope you had the opportunity to make a reasonable adult-like decision to engage in something so important and potentially dangerous.

Dude, you can't possibly be the little kid in a crowd of people who never really grew up appropriately. They may have stories, but they are NOT men.

There are terrible lasting effects for men who were engaged at a very young age in behaviors and actions for which they lacked true emotional maturity. And it will often haunt them and make them unavailable and distant and disconnected adults, emotionally retarded and searching for something that got fucked up back then. Wow...12 to 14?!?!?!

You missed nothing, except a bullet, perhaps. No, you're fine. Your time is YOUR time, and you've got a LONG time ahead of you to enjoy a healthy sex life that isn't diminished by having saddled up for something you couldn't possibly put in the proper context when you were a pube-let.

It's like farm-fresh versus grocery chain produce. Nobody has to wax and dye you because you were harvested too soon. Biting into that shit is hard and bitter. While you, no doubt, were plucked at the right time, and are doubtless a lot juicier and more delicious for it!

Now go celebrate and break some hearts!icon_wink.gif

Yeah dude.. you should be happy about that. I regret losing my virginity at such a young age, to someone who didn't mean anything. When I met my first real love.. I didn't have that gift of my virginity to give him. And that would have been incredibly special.

Is there really anybody out there that would look down on someone else for being a virgin? I mean... I actually thing it's great. People have confessed that to me before and I always think it's adorable.

KT's decision and belief to give something personal to someone, and to value it, is very real and should be respected. Your laughing at him only leaves me wanting to ask YOU what the fuck?! The man is...well, THAT is the point, HE is a man. Take notes.

there's no right or wrong age. you do it when it feels right to you. if that's 18 that's great. you have your whole life to have sex and sex should mean what you want it to with whom you want it to: never settle for less.

18 is not an especially old age to lose your virginity, and even if you feel bad about it, it's what you've got, so make the best of it. And the best can still be pretty great.

After having waited until 21, I do feel I'm sort of behind a lot of people on the sexual experience front . . . but I'm also looking forward to pushing those frontiers with someone I really trust.

Now, having lost your virginity, is worry the chief emotion you feel? My question then would be, was the event itself what you hoped for?

You can't go around comparing your experiences to anyone else. First, 18 is not late. Second, it's not a contest. 18 was right for you. And what does that really have to do with anything anyway? Going around comparing yourself negatively to other people is going to be a losing battle. You're fine. And anyone who would hold that against you (and I think the only one doing that is you!) would be a moron.
