Has anybody else noticed that there is almost no political discussion initiated from members outside the United States of America? We're an obnoxious loud-mouthed group of people, aren't we?

Maybe members outside the US direct their complaints and suggestions to the proper people who can make changes, instead of debating aimlessly on an internet forum.

Even some members inside the US do that, hence the reason they don't post their complaints and suggestions online.

    Just a hunch. icon_wink.gif

    There have been some
I've seen some posts from guys from Britain and Australia
Other countries there might be a little bit of a language barrier
but most of the people outside the US, and friends of mine in Europe esp
    just really shake their heads
Especially when it comes to discussing Healthcare

The OP is asking about why no INITIATED topics about politics from members in other countries. LOL, you immediately assumed a topic started would be about the US!

" the U.S. Constitution does not empower the federal government to force citizens to purchase a good or service."

Strong case for The Public Option! And lately I've heard more and more Republican elected officials make that point.

But wait, isn't there some interesting international participation already on RJ. Pattison seems to be the SouthBeach of Oz.

I think the difficulty is that a number of people who actively participate in political discussions end up just trading insults, personal attacks and all sorts of rubbish. You see it regularly on topics of contention- when people cannot debate with merit, they simply fall back on childish insults.

I don't blame people for not wanting to participate.

    southbeach1500 saidNope...

I was merely finishing the post by GQjock immediately above mine.

Now don't you feel silly.... icon_rolleyes.gif

On behalf of GQ let me thank you for finishing his post because clearly he needs someone to help complete his thoughts. Thank you Jesus for giving us SouthBeach the almighty finisher of people's thoughts, the light of reason in this darkness.

Ok now I'm off to read my constitution signed and explained by SouthBeach himself.

    'Sright SB
    I didn't say which healthcare
but when I have friends in the EU cannot understand how we put up with
the inequities in OUR American healthcare
    you begin to understand
    That ours sucks
