A lot of gay guy do it, but to be honest I have never seen this make a guy more attractive. Honestly I find it a turn off just cause it looks so weird and unnatural. Please someone shed some light, cause frankly it just looks dumb.

Its one of the first things I notice about a guy... and overly shaped or tweezed eyebrows are so unattractive to me. A little grooming is ok, because unibrows are not sexy IMHO either...

I make sure I don't have wild eyebrows, or a unibrow, and that's it.

Anything after that is pure vanity and most of the time, unattractive. Your eyebrows are there to help your face, don't make them round out your face or not appear at all. lol.

I'm right there with all of you. Repeat the old, "if I wanted a girlfriend, yada, yada..."

    LOL.

    Grooming standards are interesting.

Back in the 60's, 70's, and early 80's, no straight guy would be caught dead shaving any part of his body other than his face. Folks smoked Marlboro Lights, wore polyester, and so on. Now, the "metrosexual" is everywhere, partly because of marketing, and partly because standards change.

Someone will have to explain to me how exposing your underwear, and having your pants hanging half-way down your ass is in any way attractive. Perhaps, I'm just too old, but, I just don't get it. Same thing with oversized t-shirts that look like a pregnant woman is wearing them: stupid.

I, for one, like the well-groomed male. I'm not into arched eyebrows, nor swishes, nor lisps, but, a well-groomed guy makes for a nice presentation.

From my personal perspective, I like feeling "cleaner", the look, and it's cooler, too. Thankfully, situations change. I remember blazing the way on this. My dad would call me "charlotte" trying to get under my skin. It didn't work.

have you seen the shaving commercial (i tried to find it on youtube, but can't remember what kind of shaving cream it is...or razor..) where the guy comes into his bathroom and he has 5 o clock shadow and a hairy chest...when he is done his face is clean shaven and so is his chest!

it happens so fast, but the message is clear: skin is in.

as for plucking/tweezing, even though i am gay, i'm still a guy. i trim my eye brows about as often as i clip my toenails. i do have ear fur which i do try to keep under control...LOL

maintenance is ok as long as it doesn't go overboard. Bushy eyebrows are as unnatractive as overly tweezed/ thin ones. Just make sure they still look natural

i think the only thing that should concern guys about eyebrows is to make sure theyre not a unibrow. i just get a little piece of wax tape and do it inbetween my eyebrows.

Yeah, I only tweeze to remove the unibrow, though it's mostly gone now on its own due to age. I don't shape.

My new problem is increasingly bushy eyebrows, so I run my beard trimmer over them every couple of weeks to keep them the same length they were most of my life. I do the same for my partner when I cut his hair, or it would look like 2 full mustaches over his eyes. As you grow older your hair patterns can change, losing it in some places, going wild in others.

You pluck your eyebrows, but you use a tweezer to do it... and yes, the perfect shape and all is unappealing, just get rid of the unibrow is attractive though

I get told it's a shame I overly shape my eyebrows to look so artificial. I've never in my life touched my brows icon_neutral.gif

The thing is, you are supposed to make it as natural looking as possible, for men at least. It's supposed to look a bit bushy, but still defined, but 99% of guys don't know how to do it so they make it look girly.

If you don't know how to do it, don't.

I do my own eyebrows, and not to sound self-centered or egotistical, but a lot of people like em.

If you don't have a unibrow I think it's a bit overkill and over-primping. Usually one of my first thoughts when I see a man with plucked eyebrows is "I wonder if he does drag".

I tend to have a unibrow if I dont pluck so I try to keep it neat in the middle but thats abou it, nothing over the top. I'd rather pluck than wax as I think waxing looks really odd on some guys

I've been plucking my unibrow since I was 13. About a year ago, I started going to a spa to have my eyebrows thinned and slightly shaped. Wish I would have started that years ago. I can't believe what a difference it makes!

get the tweezed by a pro and it'll look natural. unless you want the thug look or the hooker look... than that's more work. I just trim of the sides of my eyebrows. makes me look a bit more on the angry side when I'm not... it's a bit megalomaniac of me, but aside from the facet, I'm all duvets, body worship, manners and rainbows.....
