Okay this is gonna sound totally disgusting, but bear with me as I need some help and don't really have anyone to talk to about this.

I normally only top, but I know that there is huge amount of pleasure in bottoming, and want to get really good at it. icon_wink.gif

However, I bottomed over a year ago for a guy who was massive (maybe 9 inches? He was pretty thick too.), and afterwards, I was sitting on the toilet and blood came out (on the toilet paper). Recently, I was masturbating anally with my fingers, and again the same thing happened (though not as much blood).

What is happening when this happens? Is it normal for that to happen, or is it dangerous?

I'm thinking it's bad... but since I haven't become sick from it, and the soreness goes away after a day or two, maybe I have to deal with it? Or am I being too rough? Should I try to stretch the sphincter muscle as I would my legs (warm up with Kegels and then gradually increase the stretch)?

It is not difficult to produce rectal fissures that bleed; it's a relatively fragile region. It's a reason unprotected anal sex is the leading cause of HIV transmission. The first time you bled was likely due to stretching tears, and/or insufficient lubrication. The second time may have been due to your finger nails, and being overly aggressive. Next attempt at fingering wear rubber gloves or a finger cot and use lots of lube.

Your age argues against your having polyps that are being torn, or that you have hemorrhoids. Nevertheless, if you see bleeding again you should visit a doctor for a rectal exam. Bleeding is never a good sign, suggesting you are either doing something wrong, or else there is something wrong inside of you.

If you're serious about regularly being the "bottom" for another guy then bleeding from your anus is definitely serious. Unlike the multi-layered structure of a vagina, there's just one membrane separating your colon from your blood supply. And since your colon is already in absorption mode by default, damage to tissue only compounds your risk for infection while bottoming.

Since you probably won't be dissuaded from bottoming, your best bet would be to wait until you stop bleeding from there while it's just you causing the bleeding.

But... since condoms aren't effective 100% of the time, it'd only be a matter of time before you were exposed to something anyway but that goes with the territory, right?

A very serious question and also a potentially serious problem. One other guy posted the risk of HIV transmission..and that is truly an absolute given!!
Unprotected anal sex is just asking for all kinds of trouble. I would NEVER recommend anyone having unsafe anal sex unless you are absolutely positive that your partner (lover?) is in YOUR monogamous relationship.

At age 18, I was plowed by a real monster that put me in the hospital for several days...under the advice of our FAMILY doctor. Fortunately, he was gracious enough to point out that this COULD occur from straining too hard while going to the bathroom. He explained that I had internal fissures that needed urgent attention.
Sadly, but safely, this put me out of ever having anal sex again...for LIFE!

Hey wirefire21, how about going to a Doc and letting him use a speculum to take a peek up there? A speculum is a short clear tube that allows him to check for fissures, hemorrhoids, etc. It takes just a few minutes and will answer all your concerns. icon_wink.gif

PS if you're shy about things, you can tell him you attempted a digital self exam and there was blood.

(I am not you doctor) It sounds like a fissure to me. Go to your doctor. You will have to lay off getting fucked for a while, unfortunately. But you will live to bottom again some day.

I'd love to just go to a doctor for something like this, but don't have any kind of medical coverage.
... hence why I am consulting the RealJock forums for advice. lol

Your bleeding could be a little fissure. It could be a fluke. It could be ass cancer, dude.

There are clinics in Austin which charge on a sliding scale. You can find out more here. Then get your pretty ass there. icon_biggrin.gif

Just be aware that most of us here aren't physicians and not qualified to give medical advice. And most doctors won't give advice online, either, because it's unprofessional to offer a diagnosis without a proper examination and doing relevant tests.

Rectal bleeding is not normal. If it continues see a doctor ASAP. As I wrote, I SUSPECT it was caused by the specific activities you described. If you have any doubts, see a doctor anyway.

If you have no medical coverage I recommend you look into it. The changes with "Obama Care" will likely take a year or more to be implemented, and of course will be reversed if Republicans win sufficient majorities in Congress this November, which seem likely at present.

Therefore, either get yourself some medical coverage, or else keep stuff out of your ass for the time being. And if you still find yourself bleeding, go to the ER.

Here wirefire21, you could also try these places. Not saying you have an STD but these places will check you out down there, remove doubt and will tell you if the bleeding is caused by something else.

    ...and many are free clinics.
