Have you ever had one of those days where things keep constantly reminding you of something or someone?
ive had that happen to me, with my last last ex, we broke up, but week after week i kept running into people wearing shirts of the state he was from, people at work randomly telling me i need to visit that certain state because its so gorgeous, and to top it off, one of my mom's co-workers went to visit that same state and sure enough, that co-worker ran into my ex.. with pictures to prove it..a sign? or just pure coincidence?
i couldnt help but laugh at all the incidents.

Has that ever happened to you? did you consider it a sign? pure coincidence?

Related events occur in my life and whether it is a "sign" or a coincidence is not what is important to me. What is important to me is what I am going to do about the thought, the option, the person, etc.

I actually have a cute story for this!
So I'd dated this guy for a short while, but was totally hung up on him, even though we only spent a few short days together and mostly stuck in LA traffic in his car. This detail is important.

So it wasn't meant to be, but it didn't end well. The first date I went on after him I went to this guy's house for the first time. We were going to lunch and he asked me to wait outside while he pulled out his car from the garage. Lo and behold, out comes the absolute, absolute identical car I had been in with the previous guy. Year, make, model and color. It was...definitely a moment.

It's a sign that the coincidence is interesting...but still just a coincidence.

Coincidence. And you are probably more aware of the mention of this particular state because of your connection to it. Like, for the longest time, I'd notice 9:11 on the clock or when something came to $9.11. But I'm sure I see 12:41 or buy things that cost $52.19 just as often...just noticed those numbers because they had a significance.

And just to test it, pick another state or a city and just see how often it shows up in your life. You've just heightened your awareness of it, that's all.

WEll i kinda always wondered about this..
When i was in high school we use to finish at 2:24.
For a few years in my adult life i never saw that number again..
Weird thing is ..the past 5 years this number has been showing up everywhere!
I either see the time 2:24, last month i went to the pharmacy with a friend and figured id get those cadbury easter eggs, and with tax it came to 2:24..That same month i went to a club, went to coat check and we got there pretty early so there were'nt many people..and guess what my number was 224..

Now i understand that this can be just a coincidence but sometimes i think im going crazy..

I dont really believe that random events are signs of anything... If they were I'd take to reading tea leaves and astrology.
Pure coincidence is the only explanation, that and the fact that the mind tends to read in pre-existing hopes, fears, and impressions into new situations.

I have a very strong belief in what I believe to be synchronicity. Over the last 46 years my own anecdotal experience suggests that the many events are somehow connected.

I have always thought that this phenomenon will eventually turn out to be scientifically explainable, just as we are now figuring out that birds use quantum effects for navigational purposes. Anyone who suggested something like that 20 years ago would have been considered a nutcase, now it is turning out to be true.

I have to join you in agreement here and have believed this for many years. Suffice it to say that such a occurrence happened this weekend and at a very pivotal moment in my partner and myself lives. (long story but the most unlikely set of events)

I'm also a believer in "syncronicity of events" and have been since my early teen years. Believe it or not the first time I had ever heard of the term it happened. I was about 14 and babysat for a neighbor. She, the mom, was an ardent believer and that one night she was explaining to me what "synchronicity of events" was and how you have to be able to tune into things. .I didn't really believe all that then or even know what she was really talking about and so afterwards I walked home. It was about 230 a.m. and my folks were in bed. I was making a sandwich in the kitchen when all of a sudden I heard a thud coming from the family room. I went in and turned on the light and there was a book laying on the floor open. I picked it up, it was one of my mothers psychology books (mom was a special ed teacher). Lo and behold the book was open to a page that was discussing synchronicity.
Sounds like bullshit I know but it happened and since then I've always been a believer in it. There's been too many other happenings in my life not to think otherwise.

I sincerely hope there's such a thing as "signs" when it comes to coincidences,

But I suspect there's a rational explanation, i.e. your subconscious paying special attention to otherwise innocuous incidents that have a symbolic link to what's "really" on your mind, even if you're trying to supress it.

So you fancy a guy at the gym, see the unfamiliar logo from the T-Shirt he always wears when out shopping and assume it means that you're meant for each other.

Put it this way, my partner and I broke up for a measly three month period a few years ago and I was emotionally crippled cos EVERYTHING from buying milk to falling asleep to taking a dump (OK, maybe not taking a dump) reminded me of him.

Again, could be wrong. Hope I am.

Sometimes it is just your mind on overtime like when years ago I was debating whether to buy a Volvo, a car I'd never much given thought to before. Next thing I know everywhere I'm driving around town I 'm seeing Volvos I'd never noticed before.. I don't put anything into that at all as being a sign I must buy a Volvo, that's just a temporary heightened awareness.

The universe is clearly trying to give you a sign - actually several signs. Regardless of the reasons you and your ex "had" for breaking up you need to get back together with him. Do not let this slip away. What the universe brought together (i.e., your relationship) can never truly be broken. If you continue to ignore these signs the universe will get you and ex back together somehow in this or another life. It is so clear these are signs and not coincidence - please don't ignore these signs any longer.
