I have been hearing so much and discussing this with so many other workout fanatics. I'm not ready to do this... but where do I find the right information that elaborate on the intensity of HIIT? I wanna make sure I do it the right way and not wasting my time.

Also have you tried it? What's your intensity like? Results? Please share... I know there are tons of other forums; however I would like more insight.

    Thanks.

This is what mine looks like:

    4 min walk (warmup)
1 min sprint (I do 11mph on the treadmill)
    1 min jog (7.5mph)
    1 min sprint
    1 min jog
    1 min sprint
    1 min jog
    1 min sprint
    1 min jog
    1 min sprint
    4 min walk (cooldown)

If you can do intervals for more than 20 minutes (including 4 min warm up and cool down), then step up the intensity/speed on the sprints. Really shouldn't be able to go more than 20 minutes in one session.

As for results...well, I used to be 260+lbs, HIIT always helped when I plateaued.

Where do I find the detailed information on this? However, I do like both of your variations. Gonna try one of those...
