Just found out chatting to my mom that she help saved a guys life today!!! Motorcycle accident behind her. She stopped, put the car in park and ran out to him. The guy that hit him threw a jacket to her and called 911. The held the jacket to his cracked skull to keep the pressure on since he was bleed very badly until the EMTs got there.

My mom years ago was a part time CNA but her quick response most likely saved his life. She says he never lost consciousness and made sure he stayed still until help arrived.

    My mom is the GREATEST!!!!!

That's great news. Your mom is a true hero.

My mom's a bitch. I doubt she could be bothered with attempting to save the life of a complete stranger ... she'd stop her car and run over to the injured guy, but only to take his wallet.

    There you have it.

<=== lifelong biker, and very respectful and appreciative of your Mom. If that ever happens to me (and it has in the past) I hope to be lucky enough that someone as super as her comes to my rescue. Tell your Mom we all love her! icon_biggrin.gif

Your mom was at the right place at the right time doing the right thing. Learn from her example and you too will be a hero for the day when the moment strikes unexpectedly.

And ReppaT, ReppaT, ReppaT....what is this?!?!

What if she proved you wrong and saved a life, what would you say then? Apparently, you and your mother had a falling out but to announce your mother's character beforehand may be a little.....immature, wouldn't you say?

Just say, "My mom's a bitch for what she did to ME", not to some poor, unlucky guy in the street sometime in the future.

You need to move on...OR you can tell me to f*ck off.icon_confused.gif

    Awwww.
And, I'll bet that she doesn't think that she did anything special.
That motorcyclist will always remember the angel who came to his rescue and helped him to hold on until the EMT's got there.

Thanks all for the sweet words; she is great.

I would tell her what you said but think she wouldn't be too happy with me posting this. Well, its not like she can actually ground me; unless she talks to my husbandicon_razz.gif

Thanks again, I am very very proud of my momicon_biggrin.gif
