My best friend used to have something similar, but not as much resistance.
With the higher resistance of this one, it seems like it would be an excellent addition to my current toy room.

MuchMoreThanMuscle saidDoesn't it just make you laugh when they use a fitness model who is chemically altered to have razor sharp definition (e.g. steroids...diuretics, etc), who make their entire life about fitness in these commercials to sell to the average person?
    Good business sense. icon_wink.gif

Just remember you won't get a body like his unless you follow his strict protocol of daily winstrol injections and primobolan.

Hot to look at....I give you that... icon_twisted.gif
You will get a body like that if you date someone who's got a body like that. Then you can grope it all day every day. icon_biggrin.gif

HA! No my frame would never have me look like him, even on super high steroids a diet of pure protein and water and nothing but exercise all day ever day. My body was built with a small tight frame and I am ok with that. A few more muscles would be great though.

I'm thinking of getting this thing.

Okay, I should be able to help - I got it as a gift, and I can confirm that 1) it's easy to install, 2) it's easy to use, and 3) it's fairly stable if you use the right door.

But I haven't actually used it regularly. I had already started p90x when I got it, so I've been sticking with that. But it looks like it could provide a good workout, and it offers more variety for home workouts.

I was thinking about getting one too. My problem is that all of my doors are right next to another wall so would I have a problem doing any of the exercises? I am pretty certain that I can do the 11 minute workout as I have seen the whole video on that. but what about the other exercises?

Mine are too. I'm just gonna get it anyway and find a workaround. It'll mostly be used as a boredom breaker anyway, so missing out on a few exercises won't be a big deal.

Yeah, this is the thing I hate about the fitness industry marketing. You might improve your conditioning with this equipment but the message is you'll look like Greg Plitt (that's the guys name) if you do which is misleading. Believe me there are a lot of people looking for any kind of short cut they can and Greg did not get like that using this machine. That's years of hard work in a REAL gym, steroids or not, it's still a lot of work and dedication.

    There are no shortcuts.
