I don't want to get ripped

Anyone have any experience complementing cardio with resistance training, but for body toning and weight loss, not bulking up? I've already lost a lot of weight (about 80 lb), and I'm trying to get rid of those last 10 lb.

But as much as I want to get all those pretty, bulging muscles, I've realized that going all-out just doesn't work for me. Can't keep track of calories AND protein grams AND balance muscle gain with weight loss and all that right now. It's too much -- I just want to be able to take off my shirt and not have anything hanging over my belt!

It seems like there should be some reasonable strength training you can do to supplement your cardio instead of doing "get ripped" weight exercises and a little cardio on the side, which is what a lot of workout approaches seem to be.

Any advice for a guy who doesn't want to get ripped? icon_smile.gif
