More Proof that State Rights Are Not Enough

In a state where gay marriage is legal, Iowa, lawmakers are still trying to keep from gay families from being recognized as a family at state parks. We need federal rights so this nonsense will go away:

What is consistent in all these horror stories is that it is always Republicans, and never Democrats, who cause these anti-gay things in the US. So can someone here explain to me the support that some RJ members continue to give to Republicans, how they can defend them, and say they vote for them, to keep them in office?

I simply don't understand this disconnect between supporting Republicans who want gays annihilated, and RJ members who say they are gay, yet defending those who want us eliminated. You can argue economic policies all you like, but how about discussing a political party that wants to exterminate US??? I would like to know how any gay person can support Republicans, who want us all liquidated. I await your replies...

It makes perfect sense that they'd want gay families out of the parks. Those are the ones who'd be most likely to spot the lawmakers cruising and hooking up, and call them out on it.
