Tips on Getting Lean and Working on Core

    Hey guys,

    This last year I lost 80 lbs and ran my first marathon a few weeks ago. I now want to tone up and get lean. This ideally will lead to a flatter stomach and more defined arms. Any tips would be appreciated.

    I use the cable machine quite a bit to thoroughly work my core. There are a variety of exercises that one can do. And, depending upon how you do them, it can be like cardio as well. I do not do situps or crunches.

    Wow congrats on first the losing the weight and then on doing a marathon
    what I would suggest
    is to put on a little more muscle mass to increase
    you metabolism More muscle=more fat burning tissue
    Your body will become a more effective calorie burner
