I know there are p90x posts here but they are over 1 years old. I just wanted to find out if anyone has started this recently, and if so, how far along are you. I started on may 1st. Plus if you are a veteran at it, do you have some good pointers to give?
    Thanks in advance!icon_wink.gif

I haven't tried it yet, but you asked if anyone has started recently and about 5 people where I work have started p90x in the last 30 days and they all seem to like how it is working for them.

I don't think people's results and experiences expire after one year

I was about to post something about p90x too. I just started my first session of it two weeks ago and started week three this morning. Nice to see others on here doing it. I can tell it is helping a little now. I think we should post pics updating it on weekly basisicon_smile.gif

There is a P90 thread from last week, last month, two months, three months...

Check out anything my Sahem for a a recent result person.

As for tips, do it with the volume off. With the exception of Dancerjack, although I am willing to think I might have passed him. I am the one who has done it now 3 times.

Anything I say is fucking gold when it comes to P90

Just finished my first round a few weeks ago and am getting ready to restart it in the next week. It worked great for me.

A word of advice for anyone who just finished the 90 days, DO NOT start a second 90 days without a break. You will burn out and hate it and not finish the second round of 90 days.

Trust me, trust me, trust me, I have done 270 days of Tony and am currently in "recovery week" of Phase II for my 4th P90x round.

Take a week AFTER recovery week to do something else

when you guys, and if you guys ever miss a few days of p90x workouts, do you do the whole week over again? or do you keep going and then add the days later on unto the workout?

I always start off from where I stopped. So if Tuesday is Chest/Back and I skipped it, I will do it Wednesday and now my Legs/Back day is moved to Friday.

It isn't very promising that you find contracting a bicep muscle "complicated". The only way I could find P90x complicated is if I couldn't read or didn't have eyes.

I'm gonna be starting his soon and I'm really excited. I hate that Horton guy though so we'll see what happens. Any other advice?

If you hate Tony Horton, P90 isn't for you.

Thanks for the advice! On the 3rd day I did turn off the music part, playing my music in the background keeps me moving in between the moves. As for posting pics weekly...that's not an option for me until at least I'm well into the second or third month! I just don't think I'm that happy with my body yet. So far, I'm on day 6, and even though it is challenging, I like this way better than most things I have already tried, though I do miss swimming. Keep these posts coming, knowing others are doing this helps with my motivation!
