    Brace yourselves. it's gonna be ugly, but it won't come from the right. Some of it will probably be a smokescreen to make her appear centrist, which I don't think she is. Keep in mind any supposedly anti-gay remarks she had made were during her Solicitor General confirmation, so it was expected.

    I actually happen to believe she is gay herself. I can't back it up though. icon_lol.gif

    I think that her centrist safety belt is unlikely to come unbuckled if appointed.
    She appears to be a poor choice for any hope of progress that gay and lesbian people need. In fact, she could be a terrible step backwards and is a far, far cry from her (potential) predecessor who appeared to have a much more compassionate and intelligent perspective.
    This appointment would only underscore this administration's overwhelming failure to support the gay community. He has almost entirely betrayed us, throwing us bones, at best.
