I will be graduating college after working and going to school for 6 years. I've lost about 30 lbs over the past year and a half and i"m looking to lose another 10-20 lbs and build up some muscle. I'm looking for some ideas to finish losing the rest of my weight and what I should do to ramp up my exercise routine.

I have access to an eliptical, home gym type machine, a power tower, and a treadmill. I prefer the eliptical to the treadmill, but thought about trying to run outside.

I guess the long and short of it is, I really have to idea how to effectively exercise (don't ask why we have all this equipment lol, we keep buying it and not really using it)

So, if you have suggestions / plans that would be great. I know your supposed to start off slow and ramp up so you don't end up burning out.

    Thanks in advance

If you aren't seeing the results you want from the "home gym" setup it is because of that reason. Get to a gym and look around, get motivated by those around you either through group fitness, personal training session, or just people watching.

I meet a lot of people who are like, "I have $6,000 worth of equip at home how can I use it better", well after 4 years of not, I would wager it is the environment.

Here's the best suggestion you can get: get off the computer and get into the gym.
