The Oakland A's Dallas Braden threw a perfect game today on Mother's Day. His mother passed away when he was in high school. After he got the last out and after his teammates mobbed him, he went over by the dugout where his grandmother made it out on the field and they hugged and cried for a few minutes! It was a very touching site!! icon_biggrin.gif

that was nice, but what was funny is that he's the one fighting with ARod through the media due to an incident a few weeks ago, and ARod was talking about Braden was enjoying his 15 minutes of fame...

Well, ARod was a little off! He is only one of 19 guys to ever throw a perfect game, so his name will be mentioned every time someone comes close in the next few years!!

I wish I would have been able to see that game, but I saw the highlights. Awesome for him!
