Apparently the hundreds of billions of euros in the bailout plan aren't enough for them...

Greek workers on Wednesday called a 24-hour general strike for May 20, the latest in a series of protests against planned pension cuts linked to an international 110-billion-euro ($139.7 billion) bailout for Greece.

"The IMF will not stop thirsting for workers' blood," said Yannis Panagopoulos, chairman of Greece's main private sector labour union GSEE. "Its recipes are a disaster and the government must turn them down."

Is this the same IMF that demanded global stimulus packages and even said that Australia (Rudd) should have doubled it's stimulus package in '09 to moe than 20 Billion?

This from the washington post ,

"Papandreou cited the stimulus package that Greece and other E.U. countries adopted in 2008 at the behest of Brussels. The rules were too flexible, he said, and in Greece the stimulus money just "ballooned the debt and deficit."

Now we know Greece has problems but the IMF in way added to them.

The Greek goverment is tryin got cut back a lot. Which means the circumstances for the Greek people aren't really getting any better. That's why they strike. They youth of Greece can't really help it that they have such big depts. Still they have to pay for what their parents.. etc did. Which is not fair in their eyes.
So if you look at it that way, it's kindof understandable.
