    why do you assume this kid is being forced to dance or that he isn't being a kid? he seems to be having a great time up there.

    Except he's... not terribly amazing. I mean I suppose a bit early. But I've seen 8 or 9 year olds do that. he's just a bit...faster? but nothing CRAZY.

    The girls in the single ladies dance, as well as the my boyfriends back dance (same 3 girls) have technique well ebyond a 7 year old, and the central girl has amazing muscle control one rarely sees in such a young dancer, i often don't see muscle control like that when i coach gymnastics until the kid is like 10.
