Blinds closed or open?

So do you keep your blinds or curtains closed around the house in fear that someone will see in?

I myself like the blinds and curtains open and could care less if anyone sees in. Even if I am getting out of the shower I figure if they look in once and see me naked while they drive by so what?!!

My bf goes ape shit and runs around closing all the blinds and curtains so no one will see in. I like the light shining in and can't stand a dark house when its light outside.

What do you prefer and why?

When it's light outside it's very difficult to see inside. At night with your lights on you're lit up for the world to see.

    I like light, too.

Only because I live in a busy neighborhood, everything closed. I don't want people looking in to see what I have.
If I lived in a house in a more secluded area, everything open.

Heh I'd be as bad as your boyfriend. My best friend likes the light and gets on me for keeping the shades closed. I recently got a new entry door installed and unfortunately had to get sidelites on either side. I didn't like the lack of privacy so I got some privacy film though I noted that it doesn't help much at night.

I guess I don't like the thought of folks even remotely being able to look in even if they can't see anything.

Of course maybe not having that light contributed to my Vitamin D deficiency but I take vitamins for that now....icon_biggrin.gif

I'm on the 14th floor. Everything open. Extra binoculars handy for when visitors come over.

I just moved to a high rise condo here in LA on Wilshire. Across the street from me in a different building lives another guy - so hot - so amazing. He and I have a new thing going - but we don't know how to get in touch with each other. I leave my shutters open and he does the same. But we live across a six lane road. I'm going to ask his doorman who he might be - - but I'll have to count how many floors up he is - and describe him. We've seen each other naked lots of times - we smile and laugh - and I've seen him getting royally fucked - so I know he bottoms. He has binoculars - - and I'm getting some as well. This could go somewhere! I may print my phone number in big letters and hold them up for him - - and with his binoculars he might be able to see my sign. One way or another - - I want to hit this guy!

Live in a 8th floor condo. Curtains are never closed, except when I'm 'entertaining' at night and want the lights on.

My mom was famous for this one, big heavy curtins covering everything, she can't stand people seeing anything. I on the other hand can't stand not having natural light, I would never live in a basement apartment or have a bedroom with out windows

I wasn't that way 'till I got broke into a couple times. Now I'll cover up even the smallest crack if it can be seen through.

I leave them open during the day as I like the natural light coming in. Close them at night because I do not want people to see what I have. I live in a second floor condo near the pool. Anyone around the pool can see right in. More of a security issue really. When I lived in Michigan, I rarely closed them unless I had company and didn't want people to see what we were doing.

I'm a blinds open kina guy. If I am worried about people seeing in (becaue I do live in an apartment and portions of my place that's unavoidable) I buy this cling film from Ikea that frosts the windows so that no one can see in but the natural light comes in anyway.

Once lived in a house that had no curtains or blind or anything obstructing the windows. The guy I was involved with lived on the middle of 5 acres - you could see the neighbors house but not clearly. I sort found it hot when were fucking at night with the lights on - anyone near outside would get a great show.

So now - love the light - like a bright house from the sun. Healthier living with light.

I do halfway open.... or strategically open certain blinds to let some light in without letting too many people see into my place.... I live on the inside of a U shaped building.....
