Republicans approved by a ratio of 10-1. Thirty-eight percent of Democrats said they approved, and 33 percent said they disapproved. Among independent voters, 43 percent said they approved, and 17 percent said they disapproved.
By March 30th, it was down to 43%.The governor's approval rating has dropped 9 points, to 43 percent, since his prediction earlier this month, said a Fairleigh Dickinson University PublicMind survey of 802 registered New Jersey voters.

approval rating. New Jersey Governor Chris Christie has been in office for just three months, and a new eyewitness news poll shows voters are not giving him any kind of a honeymoon as he presses for budget cuts.
Only 33% of New Jersey residents approve the job Christie is doing as governor. Nearly twice the number, 63% disapprove. The telephone poll by SurveyUSA has a margin of error of plus or minus 4%.

The local news today said his approval rating was in the high 20s, which is GW Bush territory.
And there is a recall effort going on, so he may not even finish his term.
