There's lots of good books on this. One in particular you might want to peruse is the new encylopedia of modern bodybuilding (in most book stores). I hesitate sometimes to recommend the programs in the book(often training muscle groups three times a week) but it has some interesting sections and advice on mass building among other topics. In particular, i like the sections on the importance of compound movement power training. Also, it breaks up the muscle groups and explains effective methods for targeting those muscles.
