That is my glee quote of the day. Yeah I know, not the most interesting subject ever, but this show always saya things that really get to me.

To answer to Rachel Berry's question, Sadly yes, I've spent all weekend feeling that way. Didnt actually do it, but the emotion is in there.

Only once... it was after he made it clear that he was interested in someone other than me.

Oh of course, many times. Many many many times. But I don't. I usually just try to stay busy, maybe become a workaholic, pick up a new hobby, etc.

Yeah, I had a pretty rocky moment in high school when I told a guy I was in love with him lol.

He turned out to be straight

and it got so much worse because he was so cool about it. He wanted to stay friends, didn't want me to feel bad about it which was cool, but then it meant that he was still around all the time and i wasn't allowed to make any moves on him.

I think if anything I was only so sad and so scared because all my friends were in these 1 to 2 year relationships, were having sex, were doing double dates and no one had time for me anymore because I was the gay guy and I just truly thought if I didn't snag a guy in high school then I wouldn't ever.

    I know better now.

Years ago, but I laugh about it now.

He's a local musician, fell really hard, as I though he felt the same way, especially after he french kissed my ear....long story.icon_lol.gif After I finally made a move and told him how I felt, he introduced me to his girlfriend. They're now married with a son. The last time I ran into him, he was with his wife and kid and he went all pale when he saw me.

That was the best revenge ever!

Once, when I was in my early 20s. I had a huge crush on a guy that was a very good friend. In my mind we were perfect together. Then at my birthday party he pulled me aside and told me he wanted to talk about something privately. I was so excited as I listened to him talk about how he was developing a romantic interest. Then he asks me if I thought my best friend would be interested in dating him. Huh?? I was kind of numb as I listened to him tell me how hot he was for my friend. So I just listened, told him to go for it and went back to the party festivities. Once the party was over and everyone left I had a good cry with my sister and that was that.

Throughout the ages, unrequited love has been considered more anguishing and torturous than the break up of a loving relationship. Case in point, Romeo and Juliet:

See, how she leans her cheek upon her hand!
O that I were a glove upon that hand,
That I might touch that cheek!
Romeo and Juliet. ACT II Scene 2.
