So i was walking to class today and this very attractive guy caught my eye. He was talking on his cell phone and headed in my direction. He gave me this intense stare and I stared back and then looked away and stared again to see if his eyes were still fixed on mine and they were. Then he just brush right paste me. Have any of you guys had intense stares from strangers and wish you would have turned around to get there number or show some sort of hint?

Yes. I have had this happen to me before. It occurred at work of all places. A client came into our office and had some questions. The high school gofer kid at the front knew the client (and his son) and began chit chatting about graduation, college, etc. I walked up to the front to help the client, and this guy gave me the most piercing, uncomfortable stare imaginable. I tried to shrug it off but as I tried to initiate a conversation, he just kept staring deeply into my eyes and never responded to anything I had to say. Needless to say, I made an excuse to get out of there as fast as I could. But, I've never been in such an uncomfortable situation as that one. Really weird, especially because I know this dudes wife, too.

How does this eye contact thing work???

I usually always break anyones (guy, gurl, old, young, cripple) when their eyes meet mine. I'm told it shows a weakness, but I believe that's only in conversations.

But I'm also told it's a way to find out who's diggin' you. Is that at all true???

I know exactly what you mean. But I actually like a good intense stare. It gets my knees sooo weak. Though.. intense makes me think... straining.. neck vein.. one eye open wider then the other... so it might be the wrong word.

Can't seem to find a better one though.. icon_confused.gif

YES I have - and the guy was in two of my classes in '08. It's a very long story... but we ended up have a very confusing, mixed signal relationship that didn't go anywhere. I think he was deeply in the closet. For me, the eyes ALWAYS give gay guys away... that is my 'gaydar'

Oh yeah, I've had this many times but i've had some dudes turn around and follow me to the restroom. Sometimes they make it sooo obvious...

    Don't confuse it with the:

    - "WTF are you looking at" stare
    - "I'm talking on my cell phone looking right through you" stare
    - "You look just like the guy that stole my girlfriend" stare
    - "I dare you to step in my way" stare
    - "I hate this guy's haircut" stare
    - "I'm talking on my cell but this guy keeps staring at me, do I know him..let me take another look" stare
    - "Wow, that guy behind this other guy is really hot" stare
    - "Wow, that chick behind this guy is really hot" stare
    - "That guy looks like the kid I used to beat up in high school all the time" stare

I'm not a big fan of staring. Usually interested people make incidental eye contact, and include a smile for good measure. Anything beyond that is culturally abnormal, and should be treated as such.

Whipping your cock out in a restroom is abnormal too. Maybe it will lead to great sex or something, but...ewwww. It's one of nature's way of saying stay away.

I think that many of us are so afraid of rejection (or misunderstanding), that we let very promising opportunities walk right by us.
