Is it just the caffeine? Or is there something specific to green tea, besides the caffeine, that makes it thermogenic?

Green tea is very good for you. High in anti-oxidents but it also contains caffeine. Drinking a few cups a day is good and does not raise cortisole levels as much as coffee does.

Steep your tea for about 10 minutes and remove the bag. Drink it within 30 minutes. I once read that it will become toxic if left steeping too long.

I don't know if it helps in losing weight but I replaced my morning coffee with green tea about 5 years ago. I have about 5 cups of coffee per year. I prefer the green tea.
