    Do you have any suggestions?

One of mine is to see a button that would take you to the bottom of the page, There already is a button at the bottom of the page to take you to the top of a page.... of course it would need to be at the TOP of the page ...This would be useful on those LONG threads...like the "PUSH UP CHALLENGE" thread....http://www.realjock.com/gayforums/922013/

Yes, I would endorse a Bottom Of Page button. Although most browsers on the Mac OS will also do this if you mouse-click the bottom of the up-down scroll bar (don't click the bottom arrow, though, if you've chosen the split-arrows scroll bar preference; click the bar's open space). It can also be done from the KB with the Page Down button, as Lostboy says. Still, I'd like a screen button, too.

Didn't we also used to have a button that reversed the display order of the posts in a single thread, putting the newest at top? That would accomplish much the same thing. I don't see it with my Safari browser on the Mac OS, but I thought we once did? I use lots of different sites, do tend to get features confused. icon_question.gif

I use the pages function, so a topic that big comes up ten pages or so. I click on 'last' and there I am.

This would be good if it worked on an iPhone, where one has to scroll to get to the bottom.

I would also like to see better emoticons.

    Basic navigation, PC:

My keyboard has an End button, just underneath the Home button. One goes to the bottom, one goes to the top. Mac laptops don't have this, I notice.
    F5 will refresh your page
Backspace will take you to your previous page (delete on Mac keyboard)
Esc will stop a page from loading

Sounds like you're on a Mac.

I would like an " Ignore Thread " button so I don't have to see those irritating threads about "Is the poster above top, bottom or versatile" etc.

my page up, page down isn't 100% the same, you have to hold it down till the page reaches bottom, with a button, it's instantaneous. details details, but since that's what we're talking about .

It would be nice to have topics on your profile you can hide or show; adjustable panels too.

I have written for this ability to the web masters a couple times. More requests may get it done.

    Good suggestion.

I would also like to have the display "last active" date on the profile to be optional. What business is it of anybody else when I was last on. I should be able to decide if that is shown.

Yeah, RJ needs a "hookup" button so when I'm horny I can click it, and a hot guy will magically appear next to me wearing nothing but a smile. icon_biggrin.gif

Ctrl-end will almost always take you to the bottom of the page in almost any application on Windoze or LINUX.

Ctrl-home will almost always take to the top of the page in almost any application on Windoze or LINUX.

These functions have been around since the days of CPM and DOS.

End and Home have similar functionality on almost any operating platform.

This is so easily defeated, by just putting in a different city. If folks are so worried about discovery it speaks of deeper mental illness that needs to be addressed.

One can set their screen name to not appear to anyone that isn't logged in.

To be so paranoid to think that folks would come searching here, and to create a login just to do so, speak to a larger issue of paranoia and delusion.
