I was walking out of the grocery store, through the parking lot and back to my car, when I noticed a guy in his 30s, dressed in a dark suit, shirt and tie. Very professional looking. He was pushing a shopping cart. As I watched, he started pushing the cart faster and faster before jumping on the back and riding the cart down the lot. He had a great, big, goofy grin on his face.

It was great seeing someone reconnect with their inner kid and that childlike joy. It put a big smile on my face.

As a summer job, I work as a cleaner at a hospital. The biggest plus about the job is the fact that I get to listen to music while I clean. A few mornings ago, I was in the elevator going up to the floor that I was to be cleaning for the day. I was alone in the elevator and began to dance. As I was dancing, I failed to notice that the elevator stopped and the doors opened on a different floor. Four doctors and nurses walked in and started laughing.

So I guess I humiliated myself, but either way, I found it to be a hilarious moment.

An adorable old man in line in front of me at the arts and craft store made me smile today. He asked the cashier where he could find the 'equal lipstick'. She told him she had never heard of it and had worked there a long time so she was pretty sure they did not sell it. "You do too. I just bought the only one they had left at your other store." She asked the cashier next to her and she also had no idea what he was talking about and asked him what it was. He told her it was a dried plant and smelled like a cough drop. 'Oh, you mean 'eucalyptus'!' she screamed as both cashiers started to giggle.

I work behind the bar at a golf course and this guy and his little 2 year old girl come in all the time to sit at the bar and eat. She always gets the same thing and she is so cute. Her Dad always asks her "What are you having today?". She looks at me with the biggest smile and says "Cheese please!" (for grilled cheese). When I bring out the food she claps and does this little laugh, and she's ALWAYS all smiles. Makes my day every time.

There are also a bunch of people in my life that make me smile when I see them, they're just that awesome. icon_wink.gif

Drove past a bus stop on my way home from the city this morning; there was a young woman waiting there on her own, watching the traffic pass by... but she had a huge grin on her face... and she was dancing. icon_biggrin.gif

An older woman in downtown L.A. wearing an oversized shirt that says 'Receiving Dept.' just as I was getting out of the subway station. -- it made my day. I know for sure she doesn't know what that shirt stood for. icon_biggrin.gif

Sunday, I was at the movie theater and as I was walking to the concession stand with my friend there was a toddler walking right towards me. I stepped out of his way but he seemed like he was aiming for me or something because he almost walked right into my leg. His dad grabbed him. I thought it was funny and cute.
