Who viewed me recently?

Does anyone else feel reluctant to go to someone's profile because they'll know you visited?

Sometimes when I'm on one of the forums I'll think someone has a very interesting idea or maybe an arresting picture - or maybe is just drop-dead cute icon_biggrin.gif, so I click on their picture to go to the profile and see what they're about. But it's embarrassing to think that some younger guy may think I'm stalking him, if my obviously much older picture is going to pop up on "Who viewed me recently".

Anyone one else feel this way? (Don't get me wrong, on the whole it's much better to know you've been visited). How do younger guys feel?

There's a way to deactivate that feature. Go to preferences and scroll down till you find it.

I don't mind peeping toms, that's what private pics are for....

Nope, I routinely visit the profiles of guys who post to the threads, and always if I intend to reply to them. It gives me background info that may be relevant and guide my response to them. It doesn't mean I'm cruising them, just researching.

In your own case, checking your profile allows me to simply share with you that I used to take the Edmunds ferry a great deal on my motorcycles, when I'd cross over to ride through the Olympics. It was so great on a motorcycle, being permitted to cut all the way to the front of the long lines of cars waiting to board the ferry, loading to the front first with all the other bikers, and only paying half fare. Is that still the policy there?

I actually had to activate it cause I just assumed that people already knew that I was checking them out- Ha ha--now I have to go back and review EVERYBODY I've ever looked at--

Red Vespa - I don't know if the policy is still in place - just hope you're not the guy that roars past my place late at night on a motorcycle that sounds like a B17 taking off... icon_biggrin.gif

I can see the ferry from my lawn - cool that you know the place!
