**** was the guy that repeatedly cheated on me, brought home VD and beat the crap out of me when I confronted him on it. icon_lol.gif

    Here's the scenario

I drop an ice skate on my toe blade first, I scream in pain.
Friend comes over and asks if i'm ok
I scream in pain and tell him i dropped the skate on my toe
Friend looks confused and said "idk how to help"
I say "give me a minute for the pain to go away"
Friend says "maybe this will help take your mind of the pain" and kicks me in
    the shin.
I'm like "WTF you FU#(ING IDIOT"
Friend tells me his theory that the kick would distract me from my current
    pain
Friend spends weeks apologizing while i point out his stupudity.

Fast forward 12 years later, friend is a doctor...be scared..be very very scared.

That friend is actually awesome! =)

I don't know. I can't think of any bad advice I've gotten from friends off-hand. A combination of keeping my own council and having wise friends?

Can't remember most of it but along the lines of: you shouldn't ask [him] out, it's just a "pipedream". Thankfully I didn't follow her advice.

MuchMoreThanMuscle saidOne that I hate is:

    "Don't worry...it gets better."

As if things will just fall into place and everything will be honky dory.

I hate that line. It's like the ever-stupid, "It'll all work out in the end!" Or the even worse, "There's a reason for everything!" Good grief.
