It's a mixed bag with cosmetic procedures. You need to ultimately do what makes you happy but don't expect an immediate psychological improvement if these things bother you to a significant degree. You may feel weird about telling other people.

On a practical note, recovery is a bitch. Have you even been under general anesthesia? Depending on your personal physiology you may wake up with extreme nausea and/or some very uncomfortable dizziness. Ear pinning is fortunately an instant gratification. Chin tuck you'll experience some swelling and that'll take a good while to go down and look like it'll ultimately look like.

    Do lots of research!

Got my balls supersized last year. Best $40,000 I ever spent. I've almost saved enough to get my cock reduced to my balls look even larger!

Seriously though you want to get your ears pinned back? I like ears like yours! All the better to nibble, kiss and blow on...
Getting hair removed is not exactly plastic surgery.

I'm always baffled at good looking guys who say they're self conscious. I guess you don't realize how good looking you are. And your ears may be different, but they're part of what makes you who you are. And as someone has already posted, some people will like your ears the ears they are. Others probably don't notice them as much as you do.

what if its corrective? bit rough to generalise. i had corrective plastic surgery through necessity with a little cosmetic twist thrown in at the same time.

i can recommend it, if A, it makes you feel better about yourself and B, if you can afford to do it...

So, a year & a half ago, on my birthday no less, I happened into a club in "peaceful" San Francisco... Long story short, there was a fight, someone hit me in the face, I hit him in the face, and it was basically a draw, until I realized my nose was gushing more blood & cartledge than Courtney Love after a coke bender. Nose ---Totally fucked up.

--I spent about three weeks inside my loft loaded on industrial strength pain killers & net flicks; which, in hide sight, was kinda a great birthday present at that time cuz I could have really used the down time.
As it happens, I found out later that I broke the dudes jaw when I hit him and he had it wired shut. I still think I faired better though..
After the swelling went down, I went from having a classic Russian nose, to effectivly the nose of an Irish boxer, which I was told by many was hot & worked for me; I actually kinda grew to like it, but the doc said "nose job" because of the headaches, breathing troubles, etc..

Great surgeon, Dr. David Chan, Bay Area, really great at noses. They had to rebuild the bridge of the nose with cartilledge from my rib, but it was a same day surgury because of my age, healthy, etc... It led to more pain killers & down time. Honestly, it is the strangest feeling to see a feature on your body transformed. I can now understand why people get addicted though

I had botox for my bday last year ;)

Uh... two things here to deter you though:
    1) surgery is pretty permanent; so if you don't like it, you're SOL. Do you really want someone's hands remodeling what billions of years of evolution took to put that way in the first place?
    2) You're a homo. You're not your own type, but you are somebody elses type... body dismorphia and vanity strike us the hardest because we know what turns us on; hell, this whole site is dedicated to that type of mentality. That said, fitness and good health are good for you... your ears (the way they are) are def's good for someone.

I've got a mad crush on a guy who i met in cali with the cutest stickie-outtie ears ever, it would be a sad day if he changed'm. BUT, it's your body and your life, READ LOTS if you're gonna do it!

    PS. botox rocks ;)

I had a septorhinoplasty and turbinate, but that was corrective surgery for a broken nose. I was happy with it...not only was my nose useable again, but it looks better too. (My profile picture is before I got the surgery).

deep wrinkles are best caught early... icon_smile.gif

I'm extremely emotive; I scowl, lift my eyebrows a lot, and it's all spelled out in a map on my forehead. Botox was pretty cool actually...i could smile has hard as i wanted to, i NEVER looked angry and my forehead looked great...until it wore off

You should do whatever it is that would make you feel better about yourself. The key to cosmetic surgery of any kind is to find the best doctor you can, who is very experienced at the procedure(s) you are interested in that will make an honest assessment and show you before and after photos of other patients they have done.

I had a beltline lipectomy March 13, 2009, and then a mastopexy to tighten up what didn't retract with the liposuction.

It was 3 weeks of recovery, but I am very happy with the results. in some spaces you cannot tell that there was any type of incision.

Approach any procedure carefully and talk to the doctor about your expectations. Their job is to make sure your expectations are set and are realistic.

The miracles of modern medicine. I was just up at the surgeons office today doing some other work for him, and had to walk through the OR while a lady was getting a face lift. I didn't look in that direction for I dont like to see that type of surgery going on, and also for respect of the patient.

    Good luck!

Can they reduce the size of your scrotum. I have a huge floppy nut sack that's always getting in the way - I even sometimes acidentally sit on my own nuts and it hurts like hell. I just need the skin around the scrotum tightened up and then my scrotum would not hang down so damn far. I wouldn't want them to touch any of the inside testicle parts, just remove some of the skin from my scrotum to make it smaller and tighter. Can that be done?
