Anyone see it yet? I went to see it last night. It was really cheesy, yet entertaining. Laughed the whole way through!

I noticed it's getting horrible reviews... but I prefer to judge something for myself. And personally I loved it! Not a dull moment.

There was absolutely no point to this movie. Just. . .none. It was funny, sure, but the story ended with the first movie. The ending of the first movie seemed pretty final; anything after that is just for money.

Sex and the city ended years ago for me.
They're just releasing movies now to suck more money out of the series and adding unnecessary drama. icon_razz.gif
I saw the first one at home and skipped through most of it. I thought it ended the series well enough. ....but I hear this might even become a trilogy.

Your opinion. In my opinion, it was hilarious and great. There was everything we loved about the girls and more in the second movie. It is great fun and entertainment for fans of the show.

Are you saying that I am not a fan? I just prefer the original over the imitation. The series just kept drifting farther and farther away from it's original writing style. The wit left- then the humor- and then we were just left with all this drama.
This series went through more changes than a caterpillar. icon_neutral.gif

so i guess we should disregard this as well - "it was really cheesy, yet entertaining."...

I really wanted to see it yesterday but for fear of getting weird looks from skanky entitled urban females I decided not to go. Maybe I'll go with my gays sometime.

I never got a chance to see SITC #1, but I'd like to see both #1 and #2.

As for critics, you may as well dismiss them entirely and decide for yourself. After all, was there ever a flick much worse than Up In The Air? The critics were largely kind about that one, but no stink bomb ever emptied a theatre faster than that turkey. (I never saw people leave a theatre like I did during that flick.)

Cheesy doesn't mean it's horrible. I expected it to be cheesy...

    I would see it again!

No, not saying that at all.
But I do disagree with your comment on the show losing its charm over the seasons. I think as the show went on, all the characters matured more - rightfully so - and therefore, they dealt with more serious issues. I think the show is as funny and charming in season 6 as it is in season 1. But again, that's just my opinion.

I'll wait to see it on a plane. Oh wait it's rated R...R for stupid women in their late 40s making 80s jokes about the male anatomy. *yahn*

It was a really long list of product placement. It was funny though and I am glad I saw it. "Paula" was the best part of the movie though without a doubt!

I can handle some changes in the show- but season 6 for me was the worst! ugh. I don't know how anyone could love 'the russian.'
