I have been using the runstar app on my Droid for about a week now and I have to say it is awesome. I decided to run a marathon so I use this app to keep track of my miles. It uses the gps on my phone to track me and tells my my distance, average pace, speed, and elevation. It's freakin awesome and it's free. If you are a serious runner, you may want to check it out.

It looks similar to RunKeeper.... These apps are great... just click "start" and it uses GPS to log your entire run. You get your milage, speed, pace and a map of what you ran.

    Good luck with the marathon

looks cool, but i see one drawback . If you use a garmin forerunner, you'll wear it on your wrist, which means you can check out constantly if you're keeping up your pace . Using a phone how do you access that info while running and puffing at full steam ?

but for a post mortem analysis , it's very cool.
