One one hand it shows how closed-minded and repugnant religious organizations can be.
On the other hand, they are free to admit and deny whoever they want. I dont want any part of their religious/ ceremonial traditions if they arent accepting of me being gay..... so for some reason this doesnt bug me too much. I can't understand why anyone would want to get married in a church that doesn't accept them. Weird, IMO.
You know, we're all for religions being able to say who they will or will not marry. It's their faith, after all. What's reprehensible is them telling us that we shouldn't be able to marry. Luckily, marriage belongs entirely (legally) to government, a hopefully secular one.
