I just wanted to share the news that my dissertation has been accepted (with some changes in the abstract and an extra paragraph in the last chapter) by my committee, before my birthday which was yesterday. I'm done and sorta having the best week ever. 23 continuous years of schooling are behind me and I can breathe and sleep with ease. The only thing left is to start bulking up so that I can really wear adult sized clothing.

In case you were wondering, the dissertation title is, "The idea of popular: a flirtatiously theoretical tour of belonging."

Yay! Thanks for letting me share.

Thanks Buddy! My diss talked a little about architecture (Mark Kingwell and Martin Heiddegger) amongst tons of other interdisciplinary clusterbomby areas.

Not to take anything away from your feat - You do know that your title sounds a bit like a Beatles Album? icon_wink.gif

I always thought the "ph" had something to do with acidity and basicity in solutions and somehow all that talk about chemicals means I'm educated or some junk. I don't really care about that. I get to sleep now!
