Does your gym have these types?

Once in a while I'll see a guy who comes in and showers even though he wasn't working out (didn't wear workout clothes when he came in) He puts his stuff on a bench and quickly goes and showers and/or uses the sauna and then leaves. I've seen quite a few of these strange guys and they are always good looking and well hung. Are they exhibitionists?

I know a super hot guy who showers at the gym because he lives in his truck.
But he works out while he is there. I know another guy not quite as hot lives in his machine shop and doesn't have a shower so he showers at the gym too.

He may just like the sauna. I know a few guys that use the gym showers on very hot and humid nights just to cool off... either way, if you pay for the membership, why not?

My gym shower came in handy when the water pressure here was too low.

I do this some times mostly on days when I'm recovering from a workout. I'd use the hot tub or sauna then shower and go home.

I tend to avoid the locker room at the gyms I've belonged to. I don't think I've ever showered at the gym...

I had a friend in college who lived in his truck the entire four years. He would always eat out, sleep in his truck, and shower at the school gym. Perhaps this is what this guy is doing. Anyway, my friend ended up saving alot of money cause he didn't have to pay any rent.

I shower at the school gym because I do p90x at home and then run around campus so I'm already on campus, but don't need to work out.

I have noticed a few trolls or extremely overweight guys who seem to just linger in the showers and/or sauna or steam room. I've never seen these guys actually working out in the gym.

I really hate when these guys come into the sauna. They always drop the towel and then make odd noises. I'm assuming the noises are some lame attempt to try to pick someone up.

It really takes away from what is supposed to be a relaxing experience. I always end up leaving because I'm so uncomfortable. Of course, they are sly and never do anything that would get them in trouble with management so it does no good to complain.

Be thankful your guys are good looking and well hung! icon_lol.gif

    You beat me to it.
Lots of "homeless" people are self-sustaining to the point that you'd never know they're homeless. And some are totally fucking hot. icon_biggrin.gif

You had me all the way up until "good looking and well hung." My gym has the first half of the equation, but it all goes really far downhill because those types are the old ones with the bellies that can theoretically cover their junk.

My gym got no sauna and only 3 shower stalls. It is totally designed to discourage this type of trolling behavior. icon_cool.gif

I've observed many people as an employee at my college gym. Most of them work out and get along just fine but there are some that come out of the woodwork every few days you just wonder about.

There's the drive-thru guy who walks around the gym every week looking at everything and everyone and walks out the door a minute later.

There's the talker who can't seem to function without describing who did what with who and why or where.

There's the guy who won't clean the machine after he uses it, in fact, it's his job to avoid eye contact with me so he doesn't get asked to.

There's the near-deaf guy who is blasting heavy metal in his headphones so loud that not only can you describe the music down to song and band (Murmaider by Dethklok) but you can also tell if it's a live version or from a cd

Then there's, and this is my favorite, the old lady alumni who is still going to the college gym at 74 and always gives me a smile and a wave.

    It's not all that bad.

Going to the gym everyday means that I shower there everyday hehe so I guess I shower exclusively at the gym most of the time as well!

Ditto. Never showered there, pee infrequently. They make me anxious.

Perhaps he doesn't always have hot (or even lukewarm) water at home for one reason or another. A handful of times over the years, I've gone to the gym just to shower because I had no hot water in my apartment in the middle of frigid weather. There are any number of reasons why someone might sometimes go to the gym just to shower.

The question is, really, if that's all he does, then so what? If he's not cruising or having sex in the showers or in the sauna or steam room, then he may well have some practical reason making it convenient for him to go to they gym just to shower sometimes.

Well my gym is attached to a university, so 90% of everyone there is young and relatively good looking.

I do mind my own business but I'm also aware of my surroundings. Or do you expect me to wear a blindfold the next time a go?
