I was out washing the car running around and now I came in to settle down and drink some cold water. Now I'm running around the house in just in my whities trying to cool off! icon_redface.gif

How do you guys who are hot 24/7 deal with it???? icon_eek.gif It must be a tough life.

Well we're actually kind of average looking, even plain, though at our age guys say we loo...what's that Bill? Temperature hotness? Oh.....

    Nevermind.

Oh... THAT kind of hot. The topic misled me before I opened the thread, thought I could give my personal advice about the other kind of hot. icon_rolleyes.gif

Seriously, I live in south Florida, where daily summer heat & humidity can be high, although my 4 years in San Antonio were much hotter yet during July & August. What helped me then & now is fighting heat with heat.

I use the sauna year round, even summer, to keep myself acclimated to much greater heat. And I do outdoor things that deliberately make me sweat, so long as I'm dressed for it and know I'm coming back home for a shower and dry clothes afterwards. This afternoon, for instance, I biked 15 miles in the upper 80s, got good & wet.

I bet that "fight heat with heat" thing backfired severely this past winter. It sure did for me! icon_lol.gif

Not really. I just take less time cooling off after the sauna before dressing, same as I did in North Dakota & Minnesota winters, and the cold air doesn't phase me. Plus I still have a kind of cold immunity from my years living up there. As long as I know my exposure to the cold won't be prolonged I can ignore it.

(As an aside, a sauna or steam room cool-down period that many guys take is likely the cause of some of us being labeled old creepers & perverts by younger guys, because we don't jump right back into our clothes like they do. Actually, better gyms & spas even have lounges just for that purpose, where you relax, naked or in a towel, while your heart rate returns to normal and your body cools down)

Its fun having it going on, i mean the reaction i get from people once they see me,icon_eek.gif its so obvious they think i'm hot.....So i pretty much over compensate by being really friendly because i would hate for someone to think i'm stuck on myself because of the way i look.......
When i meet couples it uncomfortable sometimes when one of them gives me way too much attention..
and, i hate it when girls attempt to lure me, like pretending not to see me and bump into me or the ones' who totally degrade themselves just to get my attention,,it's sickning...
So you see,,its not easy being hot,,,but somebodys got to do iticon_exclaim.gif

TheGuyNextDoor saidFeeling HOT.. then do like I did earlier today and get your ass in the pool!

Getting your ass into a south Florida pool isn't necessarily a remedy for feeling hot...
