Ok, today I got in discussion with a friend about the ethic of gay sex, and what defines a douchebag/slut. Obviously sex with a friend's recent ex(like less than a month) is just downright wrong, and I agree with that. However that raises the question, does that make me a douchebag to have sex activity with someone who is in open relationship when I know the guy's partner? Not exactly friend, but had friendly chat with him before. I understand there ate hot single guys out there that are up for NSA fun, and I am probably not seeing the bigger picture here. Would you turn a hot guy in down because you know who his partner is? (honestly I would take both of them, but that just don't seem likely to happen, and no I have not done anything sinful ... Yet)

What is wrong with having sex with a friend's ex? They aren't his property. He should get over it and stop living in old, dead relationships.

If someone is in an open relationship and expresses interest in you, that means you can probably have sex with them.

Sex is only as complicated as you make it.

Yeah I should rephrase 'recent ex', like less than 1 month

Or as complicated as your friends make it.

Sex is a physical need. Some people attach emotion to it, and that's their choice. But it all boils down to personal choice. If you want to have sex with a friend's recent ex, that's your decision. Just be ready to face whatever consequences that may occur...because they usually will.

Personally, as much of a slut-ho as I seem to be, I wouldn't do it. I figure if my friend dropped him, it was for good reason, and I don't wanna be caught up in that drama.
