I wish that I could join you guys up in Milwaukee for your pride fest. Milwaukee is a beautiful, clean city with friendly people. However I don't have the money for travel and lodging so I guess Buffalo's pride parade this coming weekend is just going to have to do for this year.

I wouldn't say it's always clean and the crime rate is really growing. This black woman tried to steal my camera and I wrestled her and got it back, but then she jumped in my van and stole it and then tried to run me over with it. I called 911, but I was put on hold for 10 minutes lol because they were taking other calls. After I reported it, it took another 45 minutes for a cop to even arrive. After that long of a time, they are lucky I wasn't dead. I yelled for help on the street but nobody would even call the cops and everyone just looked the the other way like nothing was going on. So I wouldn't say Milwaukee is very friendly because of increasing alcohol and drug abuse and the cops told me it's not safe to come to Milwaukee, but I still go.to Buck's and Brewer games occasionally and sometimes Summerfest and Pride.

We don't have that kind of crime where I live. But anytime you go into a big city like Milwaukee, things are different. I got my van back undamaged but the cops said it was probably sold 4 times that day for drugs. The City tow lot where they towed my van was a creepy dirty place with bullet proof glass and bars on the windows. Somebody is always getting shot in Milwaukee on the news. My parents say Phoenix is just like that.

I am very saddened to hear that Milwaukee is not a safe or clean city anymore. There is something wrong in the city administration when they are not paying any attention to the crime problems troubling Milwaukee and too obcessed with waterfront and downtown redevelopment. This is the city whose former mayor wants to go around preaching about Milwaukee's success stories and tell everyone else how to redevelop their communities. As far as I am concerned, the Congress for the New Urbanism is a gigantic joke and a phony front. Believe me my friend, it is not just the larger cities that have these problems, most suburbs and small towns are also suffering from the same crime problems. I am very careful around suburban shopping mall parking lots and all large parking lots in general especially after dark because all kinds of criminal activity goes on in those parking areas especially young women getting brutally attacked and robbed. It is not just the big cities, crime is everywhere even in your hometown. Keep in mind that not all crime is reported. Well lets just hope that Milwaukee's pride festivities go successfully without any problems or any crime.
