Hypertrophy Specific Training Demystified

    Can anyone please give me an explanation of this method in layman's terms!? I'm interested in the ideas behind it and the procedure, but I'm really confused on the actual practical application of all of it (the numbers of reps and sets basically)

    Change the number of reps and sets every couple weeks or so. It keeps your muscles confused and causes them to respond faster because they don't get used to the same ole same ole (muscle memory).

    At least that's how I take it. Someone who's been at it longer may be able to elaborate more.
