Elton John Performs at Rush Limbaugh's Wedding
    By JOYCE ENG

Rush Limbaugh has married for the fourth time — and his reception featured an unlikely guest: Elton John.

The conservative commentator and radio host wed Kathryn Rogers, 33, Saturday at Florida's Breakers Hotel, according to The Palm Beach Post.

The openly gay John later serenaded the 400 guests — including Karl Rove, Fred Thompson, Sean Hannity, Rudy Giuliani, James Carville and his wife, Mary Matalin — for a $1 million fee, the Post reports.

Limbaugh, 59, met Rogers, a Palm Beach resident, six years ago at a celebrity golf tournament. Rogers is a direct descendent of President John Adams, and her father attended the U.S. Naval Academy with future senator and 2008 Republican presidential nominee John McCain, according to News Corp., which owns Fox News.

Limbaugh's official website makes no mention of the wedding, but says that "El Rushbo" will be off the air until June 15. Guest hosts will fill in until then.

Most homosexuals outside the US don't behold many of the issues, or luggage that many of the homosexuals in the US do. So we don't see what Sir Elton John has done wrong.

I know there are a number of people here at RJ, who deal with right wing Christian's in their business, as it helps pay their mortgage, even if they say they hate them, they are good enough to take their green backs to pay bills with; why should Sir Elton John be any diffrent?

There are many enemies in this world wiling to destroy you. If you are to survive in this world you will have to find peace in yourself first. The inward journey into your self can be filled with lots of pain and demons.

It takes great wisdom to see they are of your own making. We all put forth an image we want people to think who we are and we would like to think we are. But..... people have a secret evil side that is painful to discover, though others can see it.

So how do you come to know your evil side?

By the things in others that make us angry. Whenever we get upset at some-one or some-thing it's because that qulity that your upset about really is in you. It's aways easier to see the evil in some-one else, and think by changing him you get rid of your own evil.

Elton John's position on gaining gay rights equality is by embracing political opposition. He mentioned something about this a few years ago over some controversy that I don't remember what it was about. But I do remember his remarks in that controversy that cleared the air on his approach to equality.

You don't have to love them to take their money.

I adore Maya Angelou, and I own a lot of her books, but, through her own comments, I can't help but notice that she's, shall we say, less than enamored with white people. She admitted that she doesn't like to appear before crowds of white people. So, she said that she sets her fees ridiculously high, so that if they accept, she's hugely compensated just for showing up where she doesn't want to be.

Extremely wealthy people, esp actors such as Limbaugh and John, don't play by the same rules nor have morals like us peons.

Limbaugh probably has no issue at all with gay people, he just says shit his listeners want to hear.

Elton John compromises his principles for monetary gain, Rush Limbaugh compromises his principles to be a star-fucker. I was more shocked when the sun rose this morning.

If you don't like Rush Limbaugh, why do you care if someone was smart enough to lift a million dollars out of his pocket ?

Elton John is in business. Since when is it a bad thing to make a living ?

It was a business ransaction beween two people. Why involve politics where here obviously arn't any?

    Who cares? Really ?

Odd how most want to ascribe some altruistic meaning to Elton's actions, but would be loathe to do the same if say, Rush was also a minister and agreed to marry Elton and his lover for a million dollar fee.icon_confused.gif

How better to expose someone as a charlatan, than to allow him to "out" himself as such. I find it hilarious! icon_cool.gif
