Thoughts on a Mazda3

I am addicted to this car so my opinion isn't trustyworthy.

With an invoice of around 16.1 and 0% for 60 months, I feel like this is the time to grab this car.

Thoughts? Or do I have to cave and settle with the standard Camry/Corolla?

you should live up in Quebec. the 3 has the biggest sales up here.
And yes, the 0% interest is very tempting.

My sister has a 2008, and loves it. .. but she's biased .. she also got 0% interest. .. loves it even more !

    get a Mazdaspeed icon_smile.gif
they're only twice the price.. :p

The Mazda 3 is currently the best selling car in Canada.
Must be a reason for that.

I know someone who has the car and they complain about it (idk what excatly) but that is just them. When I was car shopping I was hooked on this and the fusion and I decided to pass on both of them. Don't let the bells and whistles they throw into the car blind you from how the car will hold up over time. Hopefully everyone else has ben pleased with it

Follow your bliss. Oh, check out how much the insurance will cost first. I heard insurance on Mazdas can be rather costly.

I have a 2009 Mazda 3 and love it. I got the 2.3 liter engine because I like the extra speed. I also got the grand touring model, which is a stick shift, and I get excellent gas milage. You'll definitely be happy with it.

The Mazda-3 or most of the Mazda brands are excellent cars. They are reliable, good looking, affordable and will certainly give you well over 200,000 miles of the most joyful almost trouble free experience of any automaker in it's price category. And there is nothing "girly" at all about the 3. It was redesigned for 2010 and has more of a aggressive, masculine look than the previous generation. And if you really want a car with some balls consider the MazdaSPEED-3, with the turbo powered 2.3L direct injection engine. The new 2.5 non-turbo engine is fine for get up and go as is the 2.L if your looking for maximum fuel economy. The key is just not horsepower, but power to weight ratio and torque. Plus they have an excellent safety rating, double five stars! All that usually adds up to a lower insurance rate too. Plus it's considered a "Recommended Buy" and "Best Buy' with the consumer magazines.

If you like it, are getting a good price and 0% financing go for it. You'll love it and find it to be one of the best handling cars out there. Then you'll know what they mean when they say Zoom-Zoom.

I drive a CX-7, which has a version of the Speed-3 turbo engine in it. I love it! Also have a 91' Mazda 626 in the family with over 305,000 miles on and still going strong! I say do it with out hesitation. Let me know what you end up doing! Good luck!

I was car shopping a couple years ago and considered one of them. I think they look awesome and mazda are great cars. I went with a honda instead only because the honda seemed to have more room inside and I got a better deal with the honda. The mazda 3 seemed a little to cramped for space to me. But I almost got it anyway...nice car!!

Camry or Corolla? Yawwwn. Toyota has nothing to offer these days. All they make are appliance cars. Their trucks are still ok. But I don't see myself buying any of their cars.

I like the Mazda 3 hatchback. It's really handy for carrying large items once in a while. But I'm still kinda iffy about the new joker grin front end. I hope they tone it down in the next model year.

I have an 07 mazda 3 and love it. It's much much nicer than the Corolla and Civic which both seem rather spartan (boring) on the inside in comparison. It handles really well, again better than both the corolla and civic. I've driven those as well, relatives have them and they're nice cars too but the Mazda 3 is just overall better looking and better equipped. I'd buy another one the only thing is I'm not too fond of that new front end look and it's hard to get an interior color other than black which I don't want.. Mine has a really nice two tone tan interior and looks sharp.. Everyone comments on how nice it looks inside..They should bring that back. I love driving it..my other vehicles are a 07 Dodge Ram hemi and my old Goldwing Aspencade. It's not at all a girls car.
