I just recently have gotten a new book, "Huge in a Hurry" and it goes through different workout phases, regarding becoming stronger, becoming bigger, and becoming more lean.

The author doesn't include any ab isolating works outs, and discusses how they are worked out through stability exercises and other total body work outs, such as squats and push ups (with hands on a medicine ball).

So I have a question regarding the work out. Will you still see results in your abs if you don't perform isolation exercises such as crunches and leg lifts?
